Who We Are

Our firm has a depth of experience that includes the design of over 225 pools by its principal, Richard Scott, who designed most of these pools as Vice President of Counsilman/Hunsaker & Associates and Water Technology, Inc. Over 30 projects have been designed since our founding in 2005. The focus of our design work has been indoor competition and leisure pool projects since 1989.

Work by Richard Scott includes venues for international events such as the Atlanta Olympic Games, Pan Pacific Games and the World University Games in Buffalo, NY. We specialize in studies to plan new facilities as well as design documents for swimming pools. Our focus is the design of competition, teaching and recreation pools. We also renovate pools, study problem pools and do feasibility studies for new pools.

Professional Experience

Our experience includes over thirty 50 meter pools. We also design teaching, diving, therapy, leisure and spa pools, lazy rivers, hotel pools and swim school pools.

Aluminum Pool Renovation

Aluminum pools in many parts of the U.S. fail after 20 to 30 years service. Some are in reasonably good condition and may be renovated with replacement piping, some new panels and a PVC membrane liner. These pools are more likely to last if they have no contact with soil (in a basement) or the soils are not especially corrosive and sacrificial anodes have been replaced regularly. We evaluate and design renovations for this type of pool.
