Projects

We come from a competitive swimming background with staff members that have NCAA and National level competitive experience and former coaches for USA Swimming Teams.

From the Atlanta Olympic Venues to the neighborhood high school, we have the experience to design the natatorium for daily practice, the dual meet, regional championship meets or international venues. How did we get this experience? We were swimmers. Then we were parents (grandparents, aunts, uncles) of swimmers. We were officials, We were president of the swim team. Some of us were coaches. We spent our time on deck, traveling to morning practice, driving the car pool to practice, going to meets, going to the Olympic Trials, and the Olympics (swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo). We were there, 20 ft. away with our deck badge, observing Tom Jaeger, Matt Biondi and Steve Crocker preparing for the big race in Trials. They did their stretches, mentally prepared for the race, mounted the blocks and were off. Meanwhile the facility did its job:  water quality, lighting, cooling in a hot Hoosier August with close to 7,000 people in the building, fire exits open, circulation routes providing security, access and egress, timing system recording everything. When we consult on indoor competition pools, we are on the team to design the pools, but we come ready to share our experiences of 35 years and 280 pools to help make the building work well as well as the pools.
